Covid-19

From the committee to all members/guardians:
I am sure that you have all been keeping up to date with the evolving situation regarding covid-19. The LTA has suspended all their sporting activities until 23rd March, after which time this decision will be reviewed. In light of this and the government's advice to avoid all unnecessary social contact the committee has decided that the club should cancel the tournament due to take place on Sunday 29th March. There are also some Vets matches in the next few weeks that may be affected and your captains will be in touch about any cancellations.
At present the committee has decided to leave club sessions and match practice sessions in the club diary. It is a matter for every member to make their own personal risk assessment and decision as to whether it is in their best interests to attend. Some people will feel that they do not wish to have any unnecessary social contact, whereas others will feel that the benefits of exercise and some social interaction outweigh the risk of contracting the virus. If the government issues further advice it may be necessary to suspend play at the club but, for now, it remains open to those who wish to use it.
