Events
The next club social events are being held on Saturday 14th May. During the day, we will have current and former Davis/Fed Cup pros from Bright Ideas for Tennis come along to offer coaching for people of all ages and abilities, alongside exhibition matches, food and drink, games and a raffle. Pros who are affiliated with Bright Ideas for Tennis include Marcus Willis, Dom Inglot, Jonny Marray and Danny Sapsford.
We will be selling tickets for the coaching, with all funds raised being retained by the club and to be used either to improve access or facilities. Tickets cost £6.50 for the kids' sessions and £12 for the adult ones.

Charity Day FAQs
What if it rains? We will try to go ahead unless the weather forecast is very poor or it is not safe to use the courts. Please dress appropriately for the forecast, including if the weather is expected to be very hot and sunny.
What are we fundraising for? All funds raised during the event will be donated to charities working to bring tennis to underprivilged children. In particular we will donate to the Richard Darton Tennis Foundation and Tennis For All Uganda.
What happens if the event is cancelled? If we have to postpone the event, any tickets will automatically be honoured for the new date. If you are no longer able to attend please contact social@gstc.org.uk to discuss your options.
The session I want to join is sold out, will you be releasing more tickets? Unfortunately the number of spaces in each session is limited by the number of courts we have available, so we can't offer more spaces. There is a waiting list you can sign up to, so that if anyone cancels closer to the time we may be able to offer you a space. Please feel free to come along on the day to enjoy the food, drink and other games on offer, including the Fastest Serve competition.
I can no longer attend, can I get a refund? Refunds will be considered on a case-by-case basis, taking in to account the notice given and the number of people on the waiting list. Sorry, but we can't refund you if you give us less than 48 hours notice. As a volunteer-run club, it will be hard for us to re-sell your space at such short notice.
